Statement OF Purpose
The Peninsula Sculptors' Guild seeks to promote the appreciation
of sculpture within the community through such activities as the
sponsorship of sculpture exhibits. It has for many years organized
the biennial Avenue of the Arts outdoor public sculpture exhibit
which has attracted prominent artists in the Bay Area in addition
to sponsoring regional sculpture competitions and shows. The Guild
seeks to encourage the development of local sculptors through
the exchange of information and sharing of professional opportunities.
