dance speaks in the language of the body
dancers understand their bodies and the language of the body
text is now sometimes spoken during dance to give texture,
or to clarify, or to... other things that words and spoken language can do.

you might be successful teaching dancers about physics by having an example
of some kind. have them watch and duplicate the vectors and vector
qualities of your hand as you draw the graph. or you could animate a
figure in the lifeforms software to demonstrate. or take a barbi-doll and
make it dance... :) and have the dancers draw the graph of your movement...

dance is an interpretive inexact art. knowing the exact position of an
electron is an inexact science. god does play dice after all.
