Is this an idea others would like to pursue? If so, what are the ways we
can genuinely tackle the issues of the walls of the academy? Are there
funding sources (European training funds, probably, but in the US???) we
could go after to bring people in to study and create? I'm certainly
willing to pull this together and house it at Oberlin, but could there be a
European (or other) mirror site running concurrently, and joining on a
regular basis through ISDN (not CU-SeeME)? Any other thoughts?
PS We would of course be looking at summer of 1998 at the earliest to do
this - but it would not necessarily have to be a summer-time thing.
