Jim Williams, *The Electric Ballerina: Animations and VR Objects* "Short
computer animations illustrate ballet steps and movements, in QuickTime (Mac
or Windows) format." -- created using POSER... and for you animators who
don't know the site, Jim has some developed something called his own
personal POSER "Tweener" which creates a series of "in-between" frames
showing the intermediate stages of action between each pair of keyframes...
which you can download from his site.

Eugene Thacker, *.../visible_human.html/digital anatomy and the hyper-texted
body*. Published online in CTHEORY-THEORY, TECHNOLOGY AND CULTURE-VOL 21, NO
1-2, Article 60, 98/06/02, Editors: Arthur and Marilouise Kroker. This is
another one of the must reads for those of you interested in theoretical
issues regarding 'representation' and body/ performance/ technology.

TIP (thanks to Mark Coniglio) for cuseeme performance people -- a 'new'
online video conferencing tool *IVIST* which does not require a reflector to
work as a multi-party video/ chat application -- http://www.ivisit.com/ -- I
haven't tried it yet, but it might proof more functional than cuseeme... if
anyone out there has used it please let us know.
Regards,
Scott
